DHSCC is excited to announce that we will be hosting our annual Special Needs Crafts Fair on March 11th 2023! The fair will have varying vendor booths, 10 student-led crafts booths, etc. Many several special needs small business owners have already reached out expressing interest in hosting their own vendor booths at the fair. We hope to see you there!!
DHSCC will be in attendance at the Valentine Run/Walk; Race for Justice. As a club, we plan on volunteering with the organization hosting the event doing activities such as; Awards Table Assistant, Race Day Set-Up, Finish Line Water Distribution, etc.
DHSCC is hosting a “Fall Festival” next month! We have invited around 50 youth organizations to host their own booth, to help the youth of our community find their passions in Davis! This will also give the organizations a FREE opportunity to advertise their group to our youth attendance. Each organization will make their booth fun and interactive, and host some sort of game/give out candy, so that the festival is fun for the kids!
This is an event where DHSCC as well as the community can get together and support the largest fundraising event for Alzheimer's care support and research. This event is hosted by the Walk to End Alzheimer organization and we are glad to be supporting such an awesome cause.
Our first event of the school year will be this Saturday, September 3!! Since our DHSCC meetings haven't started yet, this is a totally optional event, but we do encourage attendance especially if you haven't reached your hours for the last semester of NHS and CSF!!We will be setting up for the event, handing out snacks and waters, and once set up is done, volunteers can go to each booth and play games and get free stuff!
